Compared to traditional machining machines, CNC machines offer the following four main advantages:

  1. High Productivity

CNC machines can significantly reduce the machining time and auxiliary time for parts. The spindle speed of CNC machines and the range of cutting speeds in five-axis simultaneous machining centers are large, allowing the machine to perform high-power cutting with large cutting volumes. CNC machines are entering the era of high-speed machining, with rapid movement and positioning of machine components and high-speed cutting processes greatly improving productivity. Additionally, when used in conjunction with CNC tools in machining centers, multiple processes can be continuously performed on a single machine, reducing the turnaround time for semi-finished products and enhancing productivity.

  1. High Machining Accuracy

The machining accuracy of CNC machines typically reaches 0.05-0.1MM. CNC machines are controlled by analog signals, and for each differential signal output by the CNC equipment, the machine component moves by a single pulse increment (usually 0.001MM). Moreover, the backlash of the machine's feed gears and the average deviation of the ball screw pitch can be compensated for by the CNC equipment. Therefore, CNC machines have a relatively high accuracy level.

  1. High Flexibility

Machining parts on CNC machines primarily depends on the machining program. Unlike conventional machines, they do not require the production, replacement of numerous molds, fixtures, or frequent readjustment of the machine. Therefore, CNC machines are suitable for workplaces where the parts being machined are frequently changed, making them ideal for single-piece, small-batch production and the development of new products, thereby reducing the production site management cycle time and saving a significant amount of processing equipment costs.

  1. Stable and Reliable Machining Quality

When machining the same batch of parts on the same machine under the same machining conditions using the same cutting tools and machining programs, the cutting path of the cutting tools is completely consistent, resulting in good consistency and stable quality of the parts.
