Dual Spindle Horizontal Machining Center

(1) Expand the scope of machining centers and turn-mill compound machines to achieve "one machine, multiple applications". By appropriately changing other cutting tool fixtures in the machine tool configuration, similar equipment processing can be carried out, expanding the scope of production processing, such as using drills that can be applied to CNC lathes, radial drilling machines, machining center worktables with boring jigs, and when using CNC lathes and planers.

(2) Reduce the requirements for workers' technical skills and labor intensity. By adopting specialized mechanical tools, the limitations imposed by workers' technical skills and routing, as well as the impact on part quality due to marking precision, are avoided. Workers only need to operate when the workpiece is properly clamped in the fixture, ensuring product quality while reducing labor intensity.

(3) Improve labor efficiency and reduce production costs. The use of specialized tools allows for short installation cycles, eliminating the need to search for them and saving time. Some fixtures can also improve workpiece rigidity, which is beneficial for enhancing tool durability and reducing downtime. If workpiece clamping and pneumatic or hydraulic quick-action clamping devices are further utilized, auxiliary time can be further reduced, enhancing labor productivity.

(4) Ensure processing accuracy and consistent part quality. During the cutting process, workpieces inevitably experience cutting forces. By using fixtures, the workpiece remains relatively stationary with respect to the CNC machine's cutting tool, without being damaged by cutting forces. Processing accuracy is maintained when the workpiece is mounted and clamped in the fixture, and this consistent positioning is not affected by subjective factors. For example, the accuracy of manual scribing and turning with specialized fixtures is much higher than that achieved with axial force alone.
